Introducing the Olive Us “Dirdie Birdie”! This cocktail was first created for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation golf tournament held at Predator Ridge Resort . We served it on hole #8 and every golfer birdied the hole after this cocktail…okay, that’s an exaggeration, but we can dream! The “dirdie” part of the name comes from the speckles of vanilla bean from our Vanilla Cane Sugar simple syrup. Such a winning combo!
1 oz. Canadian Whiskey (we used 40 Creek Whiskey, with notes of Apricot and Vanilla)
1 oz. Olive Us Apricot White Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 oz. Olive Us Vanilla Cane Sugar simple syrup (1:1 ratio water to sugar. Dissolve sugar in hot water. Cool before using)
3 – 4 oz. club soda
Serve over ice. Yummmm!!!
