We initially created this refreshingly delicious cocktail for a golf tournament at The Rise in Vernon… hence the name “Olive Us Okanagan Riser”
Over the years, it’s become one of the fave sippers for customers, friends and Olive Us too! The ingredients can easily be adjusted to suite your own taste.
Add some awesome visual appeal by freezing a piece of cucumber in the ice cubes. Thanks to our friend, Rodney, for getting us going on this! Genius!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Gin (we love Okanagan Spirits gin!)
1 oz. Olive Us Grapefruit White Balsamic Vinegar
Cucumber
Club Soda or sparkling water
Simple syrup (optional). Olive Us Lemon Sugar dissolved 50/50 with warm water makes a great simple syrup for this cocktail! Keeps in refrigerator up to 2 months.
Directions:
Mix gin and grapefruit balsamic in a martini shaker or glass.
Add cucumber and muddle in bottom of glass or add muddled cucumber
Add ice cubes
Add club soda or sparkling water to taste
Add lemon sugar or simple syrup to taste (optional)
Garnish with cucumber spear and/or cucumber ice cubes
Sip and smile!!
