Roasted, grilled or sautéed, fresh asparagus is so versatile and simple to prepare with any of our Olive Us olive oils.
1 bunch of thin asparagus, washed & trimmed
2 Tablespoons Olive Us Lemon Fused Olive Oil {https://shop.oliveusoils.com/fused-whole-fruit-lemon.html },Garlic Olive Oil, Single Varietal EVOO { https://shop.oliveusoils.com/oils/olive-oil/varietals/ }, or many other Olive Us olive oils work great!
1 1/2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 – 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1/2 tsp sea salt, such as Olive Us Lemon Twist, Murray River, or for a little heat, Sriracha https://shop.oliveusoils.com/sriracha-salt.html
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Small squeeze of fresh lemon juice or drizzle Olive Us Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Place asparagus into a mixing bowl and drizzle with the olive oil. Gently toss to coat then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Arrange the asparagus onto a baking sheet in a single layer (on parchment paper if desired).
Roast in the preheated oven (or on grill) until just tender crisp (approx. 8-12 minutes depending on thickness). Remove and serve immediately. Optional: squeeze fresh lemon juice or drizzle a small amount of Olive Us Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic before serving.
