Seared Ahi Tuna Steak

Ingredients:
Fresh Ahi tuna steak
Olive Us Dark Toasted Sesame Oil
Soya sauce

Directions:
Pat the tuna steak dry
Drizzle the steak lightly with olive oil and spread  it over the top
Season with salt & pepper
Get fry pan hot (cast iron if available, but not necessary)
Place steak in the hot pan and don’t touch it
Watch the side of fish that’s next to the pan.  As it cooks, the colour of the fish will change and look lighter.
When color changes less than half way up flip it over.
Cook about 2 min per side for medium rare.
Remove from heat to a warm plate and let it rest a few minutes before cutting.
Cut into slices against the grain.
Drizzle with Olive Us Toasted Sesame Oil and  a bit of soya sauce.

Serve with salad or veg of choice. Enjoy!
