Here’s how we make popcorn:
1. Pop popcorn kernels (stovetop, hot air popper, etc) and put in a large bowl. Olive Us has lots of varieties of popping corn for you to choose from! All non-GMO. Ancient Grain Blend, Yellow Butterfly, White Hull-less, Organic Yellow, and more!
And YES if you use the stovetop method, you CAN pop your kernels in our olive oil!
2. Drizzle your Olive Us olive oil (we love our natural, vegan, Butter Olive Oil for this) evenly over the popcorn.
HINT: Use a Tapi pour spout or Self-closing pour spout to drizzle your olive oil. These replace the cork that is in the bottle and slow the flow of the oil down to a drizzle making it much easier to pour evenly. We use these on all our bottles! Oils and vinegars alike!
3. Sprinkle a bit of Olive Us sea salt or infused cane sugar over the popcorn and gently stir the popcorn from the bottom up with a spatula or your hands.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 several times until your popcorn is evenly coated and flavoured to your liking!!
