This hummus is so darn good!! It’s a quick and versatile way to create a dip for entertaining, snacking, or using as a spread! Bonus…it’s nutritious too!
1 -19 oz. (540ml) can chickpeas (Garbanzo beans)
1 – 2 tablespoons liquid reserved from the can of chickpeas (optional depending on desired consistency)
3 tablespoons Olive Us Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic
2 tablespoons Olive Us Dark Toasted Sesame Oil
1 – 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon (i.e. Olive Us Pacific Blue Flake salt) sea salt (or to taste)
3 Tablespoons Olive Us Garlic Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Olive Us Lemon Fused Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 bunch cilantro (optional) – leaves removed and discard stems
1 teaspoon smoked Paprika
Drain chickpeas and reserve liquid from the can. Combine remaining ingredients in a food processor or blender.
If desired, add 1-2 Tablespoons of liquid reserved from the chickpeas. Pulse or blend until smooth or desired consistency.
Place hummus in a serving dish, drizzle with Olive Us EVOO and sprinkle with Paprika if desired. Serve with crackers, pita chips or use as a spread.
