Enjoy these tapas style prawns with a loaf of artisan bread, because you’ll want to savor every bite! This dish is incredibly easy to make, yet delightfully delicious and the bread is perfect for dipping all that fabulously flavourful extra virgin olive oil! You’ll truly delight in every bite! Serve as a starter, entrée with a salad and tasty beverage!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Olive Us Ultra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 lb prawns, peeled & deveined (tail on is good)
1 Arbol pepper, finely chopped (or 1/2 – 1 Thai Red Chili, finely chopped)
6-8 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons Olive Us Sherry Vinegar or Champagne Vinegar (or Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic if you prefer some sweetness, etc)
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon Olive Us Fleur de Sel sea salt
Directions:
Mix together 3 Tablespoons olive oil with 2 grated or thinly sliced garlic cloves & marinade prawns for 15 minutes.
Once prawns have been marinated, heat a large skillet with remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add remaining chopped garlic and chili pepper. Cook for 1 – 2 minutes, then add in the prawns. Toss to coat and sear each side. Cook prawns for 2 minutes. Add in sherry vinegar and parsley, stir to coat and remove from heat. Sprinkle with Fleur de Sel and pour into serving dishes. Serve with nice crusty bread.
